I Love Chocolate | Jigsaw
And who doesn't? The earliest signs of chocolate came in beverage form from what is now known as Mexico as early as 1750 BC. Christopher Columbus came across the cacao bean around 1502 and brought them back to Spain where it gained popularity, still as a beverage. In the 1600s it made it's way to Austria and the rest is sweet history. Here's a charming collection of vintage ads that led many to their love of chocolate. Cadbury's, Toblerone, Lindt, and Whitman's are some of the better-known brands, but there are many more favorites represented from around the world.
