LessonBuzz - Literacy 5
LessonBuzz Literacy for Schools tracks performance for up to 5 users and incorporates customized illustrations and audio, together with sound effects to prompt answers, as well as to recognize success.
LessonBuzz Literacy 5 (Grade 5, Ages 9-12) provides for accelerated development using multi-sensory learning and includes:
Comprehension with original fiction and non-fiction texts from history, science, historical figures, the animal world, the man-made world, classics, culture and mythology
Comprehension using yes/no, true/false, cloze, multiple choice
Language with 30 units of 20 questions with written and audio instructions; complex and creative sentences, grammar, word building, vocabulary building, usage of standard English, using grammar in context for improved sentences
Writing with 17 units of 20 questions with written and audio instructions; punctuation, building complex sentences, paragraphing and vocabulary building
Writing creatively by adapting 11 units of simple rhymes, poems, descriptions, similes and metaphors with the use of grammatical lists to produce original and creative texts
Writing with 2 units of resource lists for narrative writing and story ideas
Spelling with 30 units of 20 words that practice and type word families and improve common misspellings using visual and auditory cues alternately
LessonBuzz Literacy for Schools is designed for children 5-13 years who are in Primary/Elementary School or in Middle School.
The Language, Comprehension, Writing and Spelling modules should be used in combination to develop literacy through reading, listening, phonics, language building, effective writing and tactual activities.
The modules may be used at different levels, reflecting a child's functioning level and there is a Guide for Effective Use page to help select the correct starting level. All LessonBuzz apps are cohesive, being written by the one teacher in a high-quality style.
