Our Padauk and Maple Molded Chess Board is simply stunning with the rich red-orangle color of the Padauk contrasted with the rich amber color of the maple. This is the perfect chess board for matching with Padauk chess sets which are often called "blood rosewood" or an ebony chess set to create a contrast that looks exceptionally sharp. This is an inlaid chess board with 55mm squares (2.125") and a wide black inlay border that frames the playing area and accentuates the rich colors of the padauk wood. A black molded edge adds another level of elegance and enhances the padauk color even more. This board will fit chess sets with up to a 1.75" base and up to a 4" tall king.
