We love our dogs. Almost 61 million U.S. homes have at least one dog, which adds up to over 90 million pups, the United States leads the world in dog ownership. Dogs have long been called "Man's Best Friend," and studies have shown that people who share their life with a dog have longer, healthier lives. Autistic children have been able to establish bonds with dogs when they seemingly have no other connections. To share our celebration of doggo's, we asked our fans to send in pictures of themselves with their puppy companions. There were thousands of responses and, unfortunately, could not include them all. Initially, we were looking for 15, but we expanded to 45 inclusions. Join with these "Best Friends" as they show off their humans.
