Our Parker Series chess set is a traditional Staunton design with all of the features that avid chess players look for. Made from highest grade acacia and boxwood, this is a handcrafted chess set turned one piece at a time by highly skilled artisans. The knights are hand carved with attractive features and detail that only the best carvers in the world can replicate from knight to knight. This is a regulation size set with a 3.75" tall king. Pieces are heavily weighted to provide exceptional balance and stability and have thick green baize pads for a soft landing on the chess board and also allows the pieces to slide smoothly from square to square. We include 2 extra queens for pawn promotion.
